455 engine swap

Got my 455 back from the machine shop bored 40 over 15cc pistons, Cat "H" Rods, rotating assembly balanced roller cam, lifters, and rockers. edelbrock alu heads, performer manifold Holly 670cfm, and MDS ignition. Painted black and connected to a build turbo 400. I will yank the 371 J2 and tranny out of my 57 olds this weekend and start the swap. should be fun. Will post pictures soon. This site has given me a bunch of great infor Hope I can return same

I would love to see those pics. I am planning a similar swap for my 64 Olds 98 with a 394. I am picking up the engine next weekend. I can't wait!

I have done some research and it seems the easiest way to put a modern Oldsmobile engine into the older generation cars is to use the 64 Jetstar motor mounts. I found a good web link with some info that might help you.
