Air Cleaners and Valve Covers

Has anybody ever seen Motorchrome.com's air cleaners and valve covers up close?
I want to find out if they are junk or not. I'm looking to slap them on a daily driver, and don't want to rebuild the carb 100000 times, or have flaking covers in a year.

At the risk of being negative, I would stay away form that guy's stuff. He uses the cheapest Taiwanese cleaner pie plates and valve covers he can find and then installs emblems that have no relationship to the brand or make. In my opinion, the finished product screams "cheesey". Again just my opinion, but I never liked the covers with the "offset" breather holes either. Decent chrome covers with centered holes (like the ones that came from the factory) are available from Summit:

I think the quote is "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". Actually those Fauxmobile covers are kinda cool IMO.

Thanks! for the life of me I couldn't remember it

Maybe I am getting too old. I had the first physical since my retirement from the service in '95 and the doctor said I am physically fit and have the body of a 52 year old......................I was born in '55

Thanks guys.
I want the old Micky Thompson ones with the big M/T on them but can't find them anymore.
I used to have a pair, but I traded them for a carburetor from a 1980 delta.

Brand new carb in the box....

I had to do it.

Oh and I was gonna be sick because they were $250

not only because they were for SBC lol.

The M/T s look like this except they say "OLDS" on them

I remember seeing an old Ford roadster at a car show with those Olds valve covers. It had a SBC in it. I was wondering what it was all about. When I finally noticed that it was a Chevy engine I VOMITED all over the dude and his car! I said I was sorry but he wanted to fight so I had to kill him since I am in the Army.

Actually, I think it is pretty dumb. You should definitely find something a little bit better quality (eventhough I don't know if Motorchrome is a good vendor or not). They do scream CHEESY!
