Door Hinge Repair

Don't waste time with Ebay. You can go to your local parts store and buy a kit for your application. All you need is to take the door off the car and replace the hinge pins and put bushings in the hinge.

Check out this link. It is for FLorida Auto Fasteners. They have the pins and bushings for 1968 - 85 on sale right now for about 15 bucks. Hope that helps. http://cgi.ebay.ca/68-85-DELTA-88-DO...d=p3286.c0.m14
Also, gotta say that I don't know if there's a difference between the hinges on a 66 or 68. Have you tried looking in a local boneyard for some good replacements? Other than that, gotta agree with Paul. Take the door off and go to a parts store with the old worn outs.
Paul,
Couldn't find any applications on the link for 66 Olds Delta. Everything seems to be limited to the 80's. Aren't there interchangeable parts that would work from 60's to 70's? After all door hinges aren't that complicated.

Found bushings at one of the few parts places that have real countermen. There was no listing for the pins. I could've tried to match the pins but luckily didn't need them. Thanks again.

There are two here in town where the countermen are good - one of them in particular. They often groan when I come in & ask what the Olds needs now. If a part is available, they can usually find it.

If they groan to much with out a smile it would be hard for me to go back. But it is nice you have good people to turn to. Granted I am running out of places to shop, but they do not know that. lol wa-la the Internet all day and night shopping.
