Good air compressor

Good air compressor

Any one have or have opinions on the Lows $399 aircompressor for the average guy who just wants to have one.

Any compressor is good for your basic needs. From my own experience, you need lots of air to run a DA sander, orbital sander, drill, other sander, or paint gun. In other words, anything that runs continuous needs a high output compressor. You can run these items on anything, but you will need to periodically wait until the compressor tank recharges to continue. Intermittent uses such as filling tires, inpact gun, air rachet, air sheer, air gun etc. will run well on any compressor. Compare different units based on CFM at 90 PSI. I have a 6 hp craftsman that runs on 220V and is much better than my old 3.5hp on 110. However, it still isn't enough. My recommendation.... Go as Big as your wallet will let you.

Seems like a good deal to me. I don't have an air compressor though. I don't even have a garage.
