What is the going price for 1970 98 hardtop with only 41K miles?

I don't know what price to ask for our 1970 Olds 98 hardtop.

It is in near-excellent condition with only one rust area on the trunk where the car was near the barn opening for several years.
Except for new spark plug wires, battery and tires, it is stock and original. The interior is in excellent original shape and it has not had any accidents.

I don't have any photos online to link here, but I have a bunch of high resolution jpegs on dropbox you can download from the link below and I've attached some images to give you an idea.

thanks,
Marcus

Well, based on completed auctions, looks like mid- to low-single digit thousands, unless it's a convertible or EXTREMELY nice. Judge for yourself:

Nice car.

I would call that a "low-3" (it's nicer than a "high-4") on the 1 to 5 antique auto scale.

Collector Car Market Review seems to agree with Joe's assessment - I'd say about $4,000 to $4,500 if you find the right buyer (less if you want to sell it within a month or two).

Good luck and welcome to ClassicOlds!

It appears to be a very nice car. Unfortunately they don't bring a lot.

Thanks for the help guys!

I appreciate the information even if market value is lower than we expected. Fortunately, we have no deadlines to sell it.
