1968 olds (ram-rod) w-31, this is a matching number ram-rod i have owned for 15 years, ihave the original hemmings ad, i bought out of georgia and restored, original yellow with vinyl top, now black on black, original 350-325 matching number motor just rebuilt, the original big balancer is on the motor also the original 255 carb is on the motor 9rebuilt by sparky) have the old 194 cam that was in the motor, motor was rebuilt with all new items,also new clutch, prssure plate and flywheel, disc brake on front with upgraded steering box, the car drives like new,3.90 posi with 31 spline axles, 4-speed with muncie trans and original shifter,alum intake with ceramic headers and hei and mini starter, have all orignal items to go with the car, original under bumper ram air scoops and air cleaner, no rust, paint is a 9.5, i do drive this car all the time, it has great sound with with flowmaster mufflers and chambered tailpipes, all supension items replaced, great sound system, new gas tank, flat top pistons, must use high octane cooling system upraded with new flow cool alum radiator that is exact replacement for the factory one. the car runs 160 all the time even on the 100 degree days, all chrome is great and the bumper are gm originals, the car has the rear pwr antenna option and rear defrost also the vin plate and data plate are perfect and have not been touched, car won best of class 2007 olds nationals. no build sheet but the car vin matches the motor, also i have 2 letters from olds history center showing only 30 of this model w-31 were built. car comes with lots of extra chrome and a set of 31 spline axles plus I am including all my extra olds parts, axles, rear end housing , starters, flywheel, flex played, driveshaft, pulleys, water pumps, window glass ,ralley wheels, dash harness ,all kinds small items ,lots of chrome , rear coil springs. when you say you received a letter from Olds history center that only 30 were built . What is that exactly referencing?

When I purchased the car I sent all my cars info to the history center 1st time in 2002 and then on 2005 to make sure my info was correct, I have 2 that both say 30 total 1968 cutlsss s holiday coupes produced with the w-31 option code, not sure about total number, I have one paper that shows f 85 club coupes 36, the cutlass s coupe 30, and cutlass base 674. total number was 500
the 674 and or 700 number was counting the extra replacement blocks for racing and dealerships
The first 50 built or so went to the teams and the majority of those if not all were F-85s due to the lower weight factor
Regardless pretty car IMO they don't get their due credit - best of luck w sale I think your asking price is more than fair
