During my periodic checking of ebay I came across the following car. pretty straight 71 442 but with the aluminum intake and F heads from the W30. If I had the money I would buy the car. It even appears to the W27 rear (not just the cover).

The W27 rear end was a 1970 only production. That is just the cover if you look closely - it was an option for the 71's.

Car looks far from original paint. The hood stripes are way off and the way the paint is breaking down on the sides shows ot the normal age of 1971 paint. the rear pumpkin has rust on it so its not aluminum. To me it looks like a good project for a resto.
