FOR SALE 1976 Cutlass Supreme Brougham 7172 Original Miles
I have an ALL original 1976 Cutlass Supreme Brougham with the 350 and 7172 original miles that I am looking to sale. I have the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Odometer Disclosure Statement signed by the original owner to verify the miles. I have included a few pics but have 59 high res pics I can email if youre interested. NADA is a little over $17K, I am looking for $13.5 and fairly firm on price. I am located in Wylie, TX which is just outside of Dallas. Before going into a long post, contact me via email if youre interested. Thanks in advance.

Couple things the site requires is the location of FS items. You posted price and some pics which is a great starting place.
One thing I have to ask, because of the type of odometer in the car, do you have documentation to prove the 7172 original miles? That will be a common question buyers will ask. Looking at the pics, it does look clean and has some very nice options.
If you have the pics on a web host cloud, posting the link on the site will save having to email each time there's a request. It also gives a buyer a better opportunity to solidify any commitments to buying.
You have a beautiful looking car, and I wish you the best for it's sale.

Thanks... The car came from Fort Worth and purchased from a much older woman who couldnt drive anymore. She left the garage door opener in the car when purchased, which with it being so old, it is the size of a brick... It even had the ORIGINAL tires on it when I purchased it but since have changed them...

Nice car I have owned 3 of these cars finally kept my last one. Buckets and console would have been nice. But that's just my opinion. It should go quick for that price. If the miles are documented. If you could post a few more pics of the undercarriage inside trunk and bottoms of doors. A rear bumper pic would be good as well. I can't show my wife or she will want me to bring it home.

Thanks guys... It REALLY is a nice car... I purchased a couple of years ago because its IDENTICAL to my very first car that my parents bought me at 16 years old... However... Its ONLY sit in my garage for last three years and I dont really see why... After visiting this site, I see there are SO many more people who would get enjoyment out of it...

What happened to the rear L and R side bumper fillers? I believe these are available at Replica Plastics
I think your ask is reasonable considering all the options it has. If it's been stored inside most of it's life the paint issues are likely easy fixes for a good painter.

Ahhhhh, the pics worked, =).... I am assuming that due to the bumper pieces being fiberglass that they fell apart and were like that when I purchased... I checked into and was going to have them replaced but when i bought I never intended to drive, I just parked... Reliving the teenage years I guess... But whats weird is ALL the other fiberglass is flawless... The paint actually is good for its age... The chips you see on the drivers door is where the lady hit something in her garage... But yes, its been keep inside...

Theres is a guy here in town that would be the ONLY person who I would consider even allowing to touch the car.... But like I said, I never intended to drive or even buy for an investment... I just got caught up in the moment of thinking I was 16 again... I just start once a month and let run 5 minutes or so and then back to collecting dust.... =)

If you don't have anything going on next weekend, the N Texas Olds club is having their Zone show here in Granbury. You might dust her off and swing buy with a couple of For Sale signs and visit. There will be a lot of Olds folks running around, who knows.

A 100 mile trip will actually be better for the car than starting it and running it 5 minutes. Short duration running with the car is hard on it, and will also rot out the exhaust system in short order. Life's too short not to enjoy the ride once in a while. 100 miles on such a low mile car isn't going to make a huge difference. Now if it was 1000 mile round trip, different story. Go for it! You'll meet some nice people who share Oldsmobile passion.

I agree on the thoughts about driving it (mechanically).
Plus ... if you actually start driving it now & then like it was meant to be - perhaps you'll want to keep it.
Put 2K miles on it & see how you feel.
That would keep you under the 10K mile mark with some wiggle room for test drives & such if you still want to part with it.
7K vs 9K miles IMHO ... will make no difference to a buyer as long as the condition of the car stays the same.

Like I said, maybe im just TO **** about the miles... In the last three years the only time its been driven is home from purchase and for new tires... Havent even put 50 miles on in in the 3... But thank you guys, it is actually a gorgeous car in my opinion...

Daily driver. When cars sit they develop problems, they really need to be drive a bit. Whether you drive to Granbury or just around the house, you need to run the old gas out of it, get the oil up to temp and circulating, transmissions and rear ends need the exercise also.

We're all in agreement with you on that, and know that it's only original once. It's amazing how well preserved it is, even the steering wheel has no cracks or lifting of the woodgrain. Cars in this condition just don't pop up every day.
Now, we just need someone to step up and help you by buying it!

I think if you go to Granbury you'll enjoy meeting Eric and the rest of the crowd that shows up. TX seems to have a huge following of Olds hobbyists. I enjoyed waving at Eric when I flew over his place on the way to Houston.
He didn't see my wave because he was tinkering under the hood - so he says....

Just took her out for another spin for about 5 minutes... DAMN i love this car... And actually spoke with the original owners daughter earlier today and got some history on her mom... Makes me even MORE thankful I have the car!!!!
