$2,000.00 firm today or $200.00 for scrap 6 months from now? Better think it over.

How long has it not run, and does that mean it will take you six months to get it out of storage?

+1. Pretty weird philosophy.

But, hey, it's your car.

Mike, (aka) Slantflat, the car has not run for ten years, but I drove it into the shed to keep out of the elements and put up on jack stands, and NO it will not take 6 months to get out, maybe 2Hrs max. I don't move as fast as I use to, LOL.

Eric (aka) MDchanic, its not a philosophy, its a matter of time versing health. You and 66400 really did not read the original post. If you would re read and think about it you 2 might realize that MY time is limited !

I am sorry that health concerns are forcing you to sell within 6 months.
I hope that you can find a buyer before then who has the resources and interest to restore this car as it deserves.

I don't think the meaning of your post was all that clear, but I believe that I understand it now, and I wish you the best.

I had one back in the 90's and couldn't sell it and had to part it out. Some guy gave me almost what I was asking for the whole car just for the engine. They use those aluminum 215 v8's in MG's. So I would consider ay least selling the engine and trans separate from the car, if someone asks. You might also consider putting it on craigslist listed as 215 v8 for sale but must take whole car.
