I don't know. To me, that dent/crease looks deep enough to have dented the door itself. I think a proper fix for this would be removing the woodgrain, repairing the door, and reapplying the woodgrain, which would probably mean trying to find new woodgrain and then getting it to match what's on the car, which might not be easy. You'd probably have to replace all of the woodgrain on that side of the car to be sure it would match.

tap it up from underneath, shouldn't effect the decal at all ... unless it's stretched at that point ... which it might well be from the look of the depth of it.
