Exclamation 1969 Oldsmobile 442

This car has been in our family since new. It is a real 442 and I know it's complete history.

1969 Oldsmobile 442 Holiday Coupe, VIN 344879M326096, built in Lansing Michigan, original numbers matching 400cid/TH400 engine and transmission (both rebuilt once several years ago), "C" heads (one has been replaced), 12 bolt posi w/4.10 gears, power steering, power disc/drum brakes, factory AC car (no longer has compressor; but do have bracket and condenser.) The original paint color is code 69 Platinum Silver

The engine currently has a Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake and Holley 850 vac. secondary carb. (The original cast iron intake and air cleaner go with the car.)

The professionally done body and paint are about 8 years old; which included disassembly of all body panels and glass from the vehicle, new quarters and outer wheelwells were installed. The paint is base coat / clear coat and is a GM color.

The interior is still completely original; other than the recovered front seat (which was special ordered as a bench.) It is not perfect; but extremely nice. The dash has no cracks whatsoever, and looks great. The seats have no rips or tears at all. The carpet is good; but has faded some. The only issues with the interior are the headliner has a few small holes, the driver side front arm rest has some cracking, and there are a couple cracks in the steering wheel. The wiring, air ducts, and everything under the dash is original and untouched. The original, factory AM radio still works even. The glass is in very good condition other than a star in the windshield, and the windows roll up and down nice.

The factory rallye wheels come with the car. The wheels currently on it are 15x8 rear and 15x7 front Cragar S/S on BFGoodrich T/A radials (both new last year and have very few miles.)

This car runs and drives great. I replaced the brass radiator when it began to leak with a aluminum direct replacement. It has the transmission cooler built into it just like a factory one would. The car runs around 185 degrees with no overheating issues.

the stance and wheel - tire combo are perfect on that car.I don't know what it is about Cragar wheels. I love them on some cars like this one but they look terrible on others.
