SOLD POST/KEEP W30: Rare 4-speed cars: 1970 442 W30 and 1970 442 Sport Coupe

I've sold the post car, and I'm going to keep the W30 car for a while longer.

I am really digging your black 442. So much I think I want it. So I will ask a few questions and call you tomorrow about it. My brother restore cars as a business, and I have been very involved there for 25 years now, so I am picky mostly about the sheetmetal and how much rust the cars has or had. Patch jobs on it? Dont cars rust really bad in Florida being close to the ocean? Has the car been in any big wrecks? Just curious about the overall shape of the body.

I have a 70 442 original, one owner, 63,000 miles that needs a complete resto, So if I get one that doesn't need as much work would be a bonus. I just don't need another 442 that needs to go on a rotisserie rightaway. I have two small sons that want me to get a car we can cruise in. Now, not when they have grown up.

You say the engine/tranny are incorrect but do they work and function like they should? Do you have the original engine?

I will need more/better photos, as I am not local.

Thanks,
C

Please PM me with info and photos.
