WTB: '67 Olds F85

Hi all. I'm a newbie to this site and I own a '67 Cutlass 2 door hardtop and a rough '67 F85 2 door sedan. I'm looking for a nice, rust free, low mileage '67 Olds F85 2 door sedan. I'm not interested in a Cutlass or a Cutlass Supreme. Base model only. If anyone can help, it would be appreciated. Thanks!

Looking to build an F85 442, similar to the 54 '66 W30 drag cars. I have most of the parts to do one. My F85 is just too rough to do. Too much rust.

Define "too much rust" please?

If you are in TX and quote the quarter size hole "imma" have to take exception to that.

:-)

F85's are few and far between.

X2 on the "rust".... Seems the best welders are here in the Northeast or Upper Midwest....

67 442s were based on the Cutlass series, no F85s. Could be 3807 2 door sedan, 3817 hardtop, or 3867 convertible. Either of the former could be a W30. I have a 3807 parts car, turquoise in and out, bench seats, column automatic.

What are you looking to spend. I have a close friend with a 67 f-85 post car. white with maroon interior. auto on the column mint interior and a perfect red rubber floor mat. original 6 cylinder car. very nice looking driver/cruise night type older restoration. Had a windshield resealed and some rust around the channel was encapsulated. (nothing showing) Not perfect but a good car as is of to big block it. looking for close to 10,000. I have a few pics of it if it intersets you at all. jstrits@sbcglobal.net

Send your pics to bigford6364@yahoo.com. I am looking to spend around $7000-$8000 for the right car. No more. A $10,000 6 cylinder F85 would have to be absolutely perfect. No rust, encapsulated or not. I'm not trying to put down your friend's car, but it sounds like it may have a few minor issues. Any 46 year old car, barring a ground up restoration, will. Don't get me wrong, I am interested. I look forward to seeing the pics. Thanks for your reply.

I'm still waiting for your pics of your friend's F85, if you are still planning on sending them. Let me know either way. Thanks!
