1965 Olds F-85 (442 CLONE)

Time has come, I need to sell this one. Don't know alot about the history but appears it was somebody's drag car for some time. Fresh 455 bored .030 with the small dish pistons, (TRW). Older Elgin cam with .468 lift if I remember correctly. Large valve "C" heads with stock valve train. Torker intake, 800 dbl pump Holley, Mallory dist. with Accel coil. Lots of original parts are chromed. TH350 trans with a 2800-3000 converter. Chevy 12-bolt rear with 4.56 gears. Air bags and CE drag shocks. Centerline wheels with M/H racemasters screwed to rear wheels on the inside only. Front's are narrow Goodyear bias ply (I think).

Car was cloned as a 442 using original parts from a donor. Body wise it is pretty solid. Does have some bondo in the quarter's. Someone patch a couple spots in the floor and trunk area pans but nothing major. Hood does have damage from what appears to have been caused from sitting on it. All trim is present and some has the typical pitting. All glass is good.

Interior is decent. White bucket seats with Metallic red panels, dash, and carpet. Carpet is new. Seats have no rips or tears. Console is in good shape with original tach still mounted on it. (Still works) Aftermarket radio installed in glove box. It does need a headliner. Door panels are driver quality. Grant steering wheel, (not the one pictured) but original is included. Radio in pics has been changed to the correct one.

Overall car is a decent car. Runs great, rides good and fun to drive. I did decifer the cowl tag and it is a Cali built car. Original 2-tone paint car. White roof with red body and red wheels with poverty caps. Asking $8000 OBO
Pics of motor and outside of car are current but interior is now fully assembled and some items have changed.

Nice car, do you have a picture of the front, I'm intrigued by the old school yellow headlights. I'm really wanting a pair of blue ones.

May consider a fairly solid 69 POST cutlass/442/F-85 roller as partial trade. Prefer as complete as possible minus drivetrain and interior but must have dash. Looking to build a drag car.
