Nice sounding car, and one that would be a dream on a long highway trip. But not much demand for these big cars. I hope someone buys it to save and not use it as a parts donor for other more popular cars.

Yeah, somebody with a 350 Cutlass will see it and go zippy-pinhead over that 455, and the poor Ninety Eight will lose its heart and end up in the crusher because somebody said "it's just an old big car, nobody wants those".
Andres- save this one if you can. Coupes are uncommon. For $2k, if it was in a day's drive of me, it would have a home. And just look at that side view! Slinky...

Begining about 1975, I drove one of these 69 2dr, light blue bottom with dark blue painted from the factory top, for many years. I loved it, it loved high test. One of my friends dad bought it new. All my memories of it are good ones, great time in my life. So I have a soft spot for these too.

John,
Maybe if I did not buy Carla's H/O, I could have shipped the 98 from West Coast to Chicago. I would love to have that 98...but as the Christmas story goes...there is no room at the inn.
