Yes I bought this car at the beginning of summer. I am looking to get back into dirt track racing and I can have only one toy. If it doesnt sell thats ok too. Just thought somebody on this site might enjoy it.

1980 442

Wow...I sold that car 6 years ago & was the 3rd owner having owned it for 3 years. Now it has been thru 3 more owners in a short period of time. Hope the new owner enjoys it. That was the nicest 1980 442 of the 6 I have owned.

I'm curious about the hurst olds badging. I own a 1980 W-30 442 and have never seen a car with 442 and hurst emblems. I was under the impression that the Hurst cars were 78-79 and the 442 in 1980. Any info on this would be very apreciated!

This 1980 442 was sold new in Canada. The original owner of the 442 tried to order a 79 HO but none were available in Canada. The original owner settled for a 1980 442 and when the car came into the dealership the salesman had a set of HO badges installed on the sail panels next to the 442 emblems. They were not correct for the car and were not installed at the factory.

I was the 3rd owner of the car and spoke to the original and second owners before purchasing the car in Southern Saskatchewan.

The HO was 1979 Only not 1978.
