1966 Cutlass Convertible
Located in Cedar Park TX - near Austin
Up for Sale in my 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible.
I purchased this car about a month ago with the hopes of restoring it.
Priorities have since changed and I am unfortunately forced to sell this car.
The car has about 102k miles on the clock. The car runs well and I suspect based on the receipts I received that the engine and transmission were recently gone through in the last 2000 miles. It does need a radiator (and I have a real nice aluminum 3 core unit that will go with the car.
Car has a disc brake swap already done on the front. New control arm bushings, ball joints, and body bushings. Frame was replaced on this due to rust damage. The new frame is from a 66 442 convertible and was cleaned up and painted before it was installed. Over $30k in receipts came with the car and it looks like most of the money was spent getting the car right mechanically and getting it sealed up (new weather stripping, new window felts, etc.).
The car is a solid 10 footer and can really use paint job and some bodywork to be really nice. I have tons of extra parts that would go with the car at the asking price. These parts (mix off 66 and 67 parts of which for the most part are interchangeable) include extra doors, fenders, hoods, extra convertible tub (with title), convertible top frames, - all in great condition. Have lots of repair records from over the years.
Trying to recoup what I have in. I can help load it up or meet a shipping company. If you are looking for a great running, driving project car -- this may be the one for you. Car does have a clear blue title at the bank.
Asking $13,900 for everything.
