Question '70 Supreme 'Vert 442 Clone?

Tried to ask the guy some questions, about if the heat worked, etc....never got any replies...Says 442 rear bumper & tips...I guess they are in the trunk? 90% original paint? Guess the non-matching qtrs, hood, trunk lid and rockers make up only 10% of the rest? Does this have anything specific to make it a 442 "clone"?....

I think this is the eighth time this car has been on ebay. Each time it makes it to about 9K and that's it. Don't know what the reserve is.

We know the heat doesn't work because there is nothing hooked up to the heater core.

He probably saw an immaculate W30 sell for big bucks on BJ auction and thinks his car is worth the same thing.

Exactly why I asked him the question...I already knew the answer, but I figured for that money, it should have working heat!

He is a dealer and just sold someone on here a '71 442 hard top. Its the one that was photographed in the rain with the tips sticking out a foot past the rear bumper.
My car is a better 442 clone and has no emblems & I don't call it a 442.

Ya methinks there's something afoot here. Nice color though, aside from the black stripes.

I think the black stripes are what makes him consider it a 442 clone.
