I never heard of an Olds motor being made outside the US, so maybe GM had a plant in Chinatown that year

I yousta trusk my spall chekker, butt now I jest reed it alot an maek chnages wen I sea missteaks. Saves a lot of time and effort if you just know how to spell. Dependence on technology is a normal part of todays social structure. Proof reading is becoming a lost art, or just another set of words in a dictionary.....

In fact, at one point in time Oldsmobiles were assembled in Cuba. Fidel is an "Oldsmobile Man.

At first I thought he might have been talking about an export engine, but after reading the ad I doubt the guy knows about those or how to tell the difference.

Spell check is fine in its way, but mine will sometimes offer up some weird suggestions.

As an example, "Larene" suggests "Latrine", and my friend Larene still doesn't see the humour in that.

I'm just glad it catches "adn", "teh" and "alwasy" because those three words give me a lot of trouble on the keyboard. Also anything ending in "ng" often gets typed "gn".
