Time has come I need to sell my Olds Will be moving at the end of the month so maybe I'll get lucky and find a buyer!

Has approx. 115500K miles (title states actual mileage unknown). Many new parts. Runs and drives excellent...very smooth car. She's a blast to take out

Brake light flashes occasionally due to the hydraulic booster. It works fine but is very quirky so will probably need to be replaced at some point or converted to vacuum. Also from what I can tell the intake manifold is starting to leak. Transmission pan gasket is damp so a flush is probably a good idea.

New parts include: tires, belts, hoses, battery, front brake pads (cheaper pads so they squeal a lot), tie rods, front shocks (needs rear shocks), thermostat, valve cover gaskets, oil pressure sensor, K&N air filter, all new breather filters, A/C recharged, radiator flushed, new fuel sending unit.

Fully loaded, power antenna does not work. Radio works but display crystals are bad so can't see full numbers...the speakers crackle as well. Cruise actually works! It has the 3rd, rear facing seat, cloth covered.

NO RUST. I believe this car is from AZ originally so besides the faded paint and some small dings, body is great. Window gaskets on front doors need replacing as does the tint. Or it could just be removed.

Interior is very clean, no cracks on dash or ripped seats. Armrest pads are separating however. Headliner sags in one part over cargo area. The driver's side mirror control has fallen into the door so I adjust the mirror manually.

Nada classic car guide lists value at $1590 low retail, which is recommended for a "daily driver".

Asking $1500 and will consider any reasonable offers.

A very good looking, easy resto project or DD for such a good price!
Intake leak is typical for the 307 - very fixable withthe right technique.
Too bad you cannot take it with you, but hope it finds a good home.
Being free of rust is a huge advantage!

 

Thanks Rob! Yes I wish I could take her with me. There's a bit of urgency involved in my moving now so I will run away with my Focus only. Hopefully I can get another Olds.

 

Just put the focus in the back of the wagon and take both...

 

Looks like I have a buyer! Listed it on Craigslist and it sold in 2 hours! lol.

Going to a girl my age who was too a kid when it was new and always wanted one. She had been looking for one of these with the 3rd seat forever and was happy I was willing to sell to her. She has 6 kids! Yikes...at least the old girl will be put to her intended use!

Now I'm Olds-less. That's the sad part

Wow, thats great that she's got a kid-hauler now. Fine looking wagon. Join the club of people without an Oldsmobile. IDK how many of us are on here. But, you can do like me, and dream of the next Olds to grace the driveway.

Thanks Ryan! I'm sure I'll get another at some point...once I'm settled in my move. I found a really nice '88 Delta that someone is selling for $350...it just idles rough...not sure I have enough time to tinker with it though and try to sell it for a profit...lol.
