Looks like a decent car. $6000 is high for this car though unless the 403 is built. You might want to lower your price some to get more offers / interest. Good luck!

Well you may have got a good deal 3 years ago but I will not sell this car for nothing. As I have said before if someone want to buy it give me a reasonable offer, if not will keep the car
You might consider putting it in the paper or on Craigslist for $4000 obo. Like Dave said, he bought his with new paint and aftermarket wheels for $5000. Joe P or Oldsguy might respond to this post. They have books that give "estimated" market value on an Olds based on year and model.

No one is trying to insult you...You just don't have one of the more desirable models/ years to sell. For what you are asking that unit should be perfect. Consider the economy, and the condition of the car. Reasonable expectations should be a fair site lower.

A lot of factors go into what your car is worth compared to what you can actually get for it. It really depends on where you are too. Here in Tucson I see cars advertised for high retail all the time, but they aren't selling. People aren't buying things like this right now, at least not spending large amounts of money for them. Ebay might be your best bet because you can set a reserve and you can also reach people nationwide.

Well you can advertise what you want for the car not necessarily saying that you will get your asking price just take a look at what your up against and these are some desirable body styles:

http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/1255275866.html

http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/1245864285.html

http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/1292692053.html

http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/1250468482.html

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv...293438356.html

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb...290914754.html

Granted some of these cars are not finished cars but the style is desirable and these cars can be worked on as you drive them, but my point is that these cars ARE desirable!

Even in todays market you have to go with what the market will bring ......not what your wanting to get, if that is the case you just MAY be keeping the car and driving it yourself, which isn't a bad thing either.

I have to agree, I'm in a similar situation. It's really hard to sell things during bad economic times. Granted there are always people that have money. I just saw a Buick GNX on ebay that is up to $40K! I was hoping to fix up and resell my cars...but at this point, I'd be lucky to break even.

This dealer has an Omega selling for 4K...looks like it has a V6. I've been looking at this dealer's site for quite some time...they don't seem to be moving these classics very fast as they have had them for months...haha. Some cool finds though.

Ha, yeah I know...but it's a dealer so you expect them to sell at full retail I guess (or try to! lol).
