i don't really have an opinion on the price of this car because this vintage isn't my cup of tea but i do know what it costs for body/paint/chrome/interior restoration and if you got one of these projects for free you couldn't restore it for $11,000 so i think your number is low.

Just posted within the day. Very similar, almost half the price.

that looks like a decent car for a good price but certainly not as good condition.what value would you put on detailing an engine and compartment and trunk or buckets/console interior in black ?nice side exit tail pipes too. i don't disagree that 17,500 is high but i don't think it's that far off.myself i would put the price closer to a reasonable number rather than scare off potential buyers.if i had to guess i think it could be worth around $15k.real condition/value can't be evaluated from ad pics imo

Joffroi:
You just posted a car that I would purchase in a heartbeat. I just don't know how I would get it all the way to the left coast. It would be hard to trust the seller at this point since it is a 72 posted as a 70. Also, it seems I've seen this ad previously.

True. But a 1972 350 cutlass really isn't desirable. They are low comp motors, they are slow and heavy. What sucked back then still sucks now( I can say that, because I own a 72).
You always spend more on a restoration than the car is worth. I agree, the black interior is more desirable, but you could re-skin the seats and nicely SEM paint the dash for $1200-$1400. So to buy the one at $9300 is way more practical.
