No real interested buyers, therefore will consider parting out before scrapping... I will be keeping the steering wheel, left front fender and header panel for one of my other vehicles... Also, I do not want to ship any large body parts, prefer local pickup on those type items... http://albany.craigslist.org/cto/5821698892.html

Wow, that is clean. Too bad it's wrong wheel drive...

I'm interested in the steering wheel. PM me with price shipped to 20180. Thanks.

Thanks for your interest Joe, but the steering wheel is one of the few items I will be keeping for one of my other vehicles... Sorry, I probably should have stated that in my post... I will also be keeping the header panel and left front fender as well...

Vehicle has been sold... Actually donated to the local fire department for training purposes after removing what I needed...I figured, better to donate it to a beneficial cause then to have it crushed for scrap...

You do realize that they will probably light it on fire and then perform extrication tool training by cutting the roof off and prying all the doors off the body. Then they will send all the parts to the wrecking yard to be crushed.

I think his point was that some use will come from the car BEFORE it goes to China as scrap.

Yes, I do realize what the end result will be... I have donated several other vehicles, only not in as good condition as this particular vehicle... But after having tried to sell it for more then a year with no takers, I just had to let it go to make space for other projects... However, the parts I salvaged before donating it will serve me well (or someone else) possibly in the future...

My point exactly... Hopefully some firemen trainees will learn some life saving practices... That, in itself, makes it more satisfying...
