1967 442 scam alert

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Oldsmobile-4...m=252474158445

Tell everyone you know to stay away from this car. The car was built around his fake repopped cowl tag attached with permatex that he forgets to mention. The whole story on this car is all made up. This guy is one of the SCUMBAGS that try and ruin our hobby !!!!!!!

Don't worry, there's a lot wrong with this car to scare people off, and there's even a neat story to explain the typical cloner numbers inconsistencies, like those pesky date codes.

but " Everything works including the back-up lamps", surely that alone increases the value. I mean, there's an endless number of threads here about malfunctioning back-up lamps. I once sold a 442 because I couldn't get them working.

Heheh, well, I did have a 62 Falcon that had none at all, and seat belts were optional I believe. Just having fun..

FYI, backup lamps were optional in the early 1960s. My 62 F-85 wagon does not have them. They were a $5 option.
