67 442 Convertible
So, after much talk and thought have decided to put the convertible up for sale. I have owned this car with my Dad since 1967. It has had almost all it can redone. I have over $10k in the body and paint work, it is not a numbers car. Not something we ever cared about. it has a 69 455 with C heads and is painted to look like the original 400. it has a TH 400 with about 5000 miles on a rebuild. The suspension has been all rebuilt with new springs and air lift bags added. Grand Cherokee steering gear. Was a factory 4 piston caliper disc brake car and we upgraded to the 69-72 single piston set up, had 11 inch rear brakes, 70-72 rally 1 wheels, 10 bolt type p rear end with 3:08 posi, 3 core radiator with heavy duty cooling including a fan shroud and clutch fan, stock manifolds with stock style exhaust with flowmaster mufflers. correct boxed rear control arms with sway bar, all the front suspension is all rebuilt with new moog ball joints, tie rods, and sway bar links, as well as bushings. Engine was gone through about 3 years ago, it is a stock 69 455. All new interior with new upholstery and door panels about 3 years ago from OPGi. Dash has been restored. Radio is a aftermarket made to fit am-fm digital with aux inputs made to fit the dash and has OLDSMOBILE on it. Car has factory original bucket seats and console. Power trunk release and has power windows that were added. top is two years old and the top motor was replaced at the same time. Trunk is detailed and painted to match. All paint was done exceptionally. Chrome is in very nice shape. Paint is about 3 years old. Bumpers were rechromed by Ogden Chrome. Has an original open element air cleaner off a 4 speed car. I like it better than the snorkel kind. This car drives awesome. Wheels are 70-72 rally 1 14 x7 with BFGoodrich T/A radials. They are about 80% tread. This car has won several awards and has been in a magazine. It is a very nice car and constantly gets compliments. I am so glad I was able to take my Dad for a ride in it this year he loved it. His health it not good. We bought this car together in 1979 in Vancouver Washington. We titled it here in Oregon then and it still is in my name. It was built at the Fremont plant.
I will only accept calls on this between 8 am and 8 pm west coast time no emails or texts. if you are serious call me. Not looking for tire kickers and yes the price is high. It's what it will take for me to part with it.
