68 delta 88 455 rockers

I just need some advice on what brand of rockers I should buy for my 455, I am currently makin it into a street/strip car. And just was wondering how hard is it to install them myself, and which performance rockers to get if you have any suggestions.

If yours are in good shape and your cam lift is less than .550" use them.

X2 on the stock rockers. No need to go overboard with them when that money can be spent in other places on the car without missing any performance.

If you want aftermarket rockers get the Comp Cams roller tip rocker set. I think it is about $250. It is easy to install as well.

Could be $1,500 or $15,000 depending on what you wish to accomplish.

Rule of thumb = It is never a good idea to spend money that one doesn't have.

While you are doing that, learn everything you can about the Otto Cycle engine.

I wouldn't take out a loan to rebuild your engine. Just save up your money and do it later. I rebuilt a 455 last fall and it cost me around $3500 for the parts and machine work.
