...I'm getting rid of the points in my 72 455 ...again.....this time a different one! I did it to one years ago, taking the 75 HEI and the 72 points distributor and swapping the gear at the end,...it worked GREAT! Believe it or not, the two gears were cut identically, but reverse of each other....it was better than spending the money on a Mallory or something,...we were poor rodders then!...anyone?

I thought BOP HEI was a direct dropin...or are you saying you took a Ch*vy HEI and just swapped gears...?
