Need to replace battery in 2001
I have an 01 Aurora with the original battery. I would like to know how to get the back seat out to replace the battery. Also since that battery is inside the passeneger compartment do I ned to buy a certain battery to prevent gassing inside the passenger compartment?

Rear seats in most new cars just pop in and out. Give it a tug upwards and see what happens. If it doesn't pop, shove it toward the back while tugging up.
Your Aurora uses a 100 series battery. It's got a vent tube harness that runs through the floorboard to vent to the outside. I recommend using a Delco replacement battery so that harness fits properly. Paul |
