I am ignoring your post but I couldn't help but notice your tires have mud caked on them.

 

yes, that was 5 minutes after i got it home. it was sitting outside for 5 years in the same spot.

I was going to ignore the post ..but if you do won't the hydro wires dangle on the front lawn and then you would run over them when you cut the grass.
I noticed you use the cross thatched method of cutting.

if you guys could only see my yard. the picture hides alot. i am very allergic to the grass clippings so i mow in the early morning when the dew is on and wont pick up the grass as well. it looks terrible most of the time.

 

I used to get nose bleeds when I cut my parents grass back in the day. My yard is almost exactly 1/4 the size of theirs. no more nose bleeds. Still hate grass though

I am allergic to June grass along with lots of other neat things (the list is to long to write here) so thats why I had children and they can do this stuff so I don't have to.

That floor jack looks a lot like mine but you have your clutter in a different order..

 

You would be correct My sweet single exhaust crossmember. Unfortunately I tripped and a running grinder with a cut off wheel fell on it and cut a chunk out.

How do you organize your clutter? Do you alphabetize or go by color? Me, I prefer the chronological method

 

Heaviest stuff on the floor (safety) combustibles segregated...fragile trim, in the rafters...items I need to put my mitts on immediately...Invisible

The car parts gremlins come in at night and hid all of the parts you need to install the next day. I thought everyone knew that.

i store my gas on top of the wood stove. sometime when someone is coming over i will put a bucket of water and dry ice in the stove and watch there expression when they walk in.

Amusing thread!

 

I have the parts gremlins cousins, the tool gremlins (exesor ferramenta). Mischievous and brave creatures that hide tools while youre working on a project. Their favorite time to come out seems to be, while working under the car, Moving sockets, wrenches and ect just out of reach or sight. Although they will ingest larger tools, their primary diet seems to be small allen wrenches and drill bits.

 

Those peskie tool gremlins also have a way of knowing that you have just looked there and can put it back when you turn your head... and there you go it's back right where you left it but how I just looked there and now it's back . Am I going crazy or should I be setting traps,does anybody have a picture of one so I know what size trap to get?

to my knowlege no one has caught a garden variety tool.gremlin on film. But, I caught another beast that has some of the same traits of a tool gremlin, in action one night. This species is protected by law. But can be made to leave after a certain amount of time. Thats great!!!!!!!!!! cool picture, a keeper for sure. I had a three of those, when they grow up they forget to put your tools back. Tools end up in their own tool boxes and they become the new owners of your tools
