Kelly Blue Book shows a "private party" price for a "good" '99 Aurora at $3700. IF this will be your daily driver, remember they don't exactly sip petrol like a Honda Civic, either. I'm surprised by the 32 mpg average. Your grandfather must drive only on the highway and like a erm....uh...grandpa. And, while I'm thinking about it, if the fuel consumption is in miles, does that mean the odometer reading is in miles also?

If a "Classic" 1995-1999 Aurora does not have the Autobhan option (3.73 gears, no 110mhp limiter, stiffer springs), yes this Olds can get 32 mpg on the highway. 27-28 with Autobahn package. Non- autobahns have a 3.48 gears.
