Well, the only thing to be wary of is that the only Olds motor installed in these cars was the awesome 260. Other choices were the Buick V6 and the Buick 350. On the other hand, the 75-79 X-body cars have a lot in common with the 70-81 F-body cars (Camaro/Firebird) so suspension, brake, and chassis parts usually interchange.
