The bolts have a large N on the center with 12 point nuts. Anybody know the brand? I'm trying to decide if I should upgrade to ARP or if I can use the ones in there now but I have no idea who makes em...

 

Stock bolts have a torque spec of 42 ft lb with oil. ARP are only about $60 and you torque them to 50 with the super slippery ARP grease. ARP are around 50 % stronger, a good upgrade so long as you get the big ends refinished with them installed.

U mean when you upgrade to ARP that the big ends should be re-ground or polished ??sorry just not certain what you are saying here --mind it is early and babysitting the grandson is sapping

Yes, when you change to ARP bolts it is a very good idea to have the rods big end resized. The clamping power of the ARP bolt is so much better. You also need to do the same when you change to ARP main brg studs.
