You could always get in touch with your local Olds Club of America if you want to work with someone personally. They probably have someone that can give you good info.

I'd second that recomendation.Rick Duden mcfook@juno.com is listed as the 1970-72 442, W-30 OCA advisor. That would be a good place to start.

Or heck post it here, we have a virtual plethora of "Gurus" who read this everyday.

Your best bet is to find a professional appraiser who knows something about these cars and can be objective. You DON'T need one who is caught up in the current musclecar auction frenzy; someone like that will almost always overvalue the car.

I daresay there's a competent appraiser or two in West Palm.

A professional would probably be able to give you an accurate value for your car. However, there are regulars on our site and hobbyists in OCA that would be able to give you much more information and history on your car than a professional ever could.

Those appraisers probably deal with hopped up Camaros, Mustangs, and super cars (Vipers, Ferrraris, etc.) more often than they deal with Oldsmobiles. I am not saying they aren't a good source of info, but if you are looking for detailed information and history on your car it is best to go straight to the horse's mouth. I imagine that would be Rick Duden like Jamesbo said.

Thank you so far for your comments. I have to agree that I'm looking more for history and value rather then a professional appraisal. I am going to email the gentleman you have suggested.
I think in the next day or so I will also post on this site the options and documents I have as you have so graciously suggested.
