Car looks awesome, and it is everything about the '66 that I like.

But no docs are mentioned, and somehow it's implied it's a Track Pack car but shows no equipment. What's the deal with this car - anyone know?

Looks like a regular club coupe L69 car, no W30 stuff on it. The firewall cover for the heater hole is Chevy style, incorrect for an Olds.

Was the Track Pack offered in '66? I thought it was a '67 deal.

It was a 67 thing. Auction error, there was no "drag pack." I believe they are trying to say it is a stripper 442 with just racing stuff like a tach and a tri-carb setup.

He put $88,000 into the restoration? Sheez!! Is the steering wheel for a 66 442 different than for a Cutlass? Mine doesn't look like that.

Usually, more than one steering wheel was available. Seeing that this is an F85 and your car is a Cutlass, perhaps that's the answer.

Steering wheel is the standard equipment wheel for a standard F85. Deluxe wheel was optional.

The car is a real 442 tri carb car but it isn't a factory heater delete car and I have the pictures to prove it. A shyster made it a heater delete car and I have the pictures of the original cowl tag,the second incorrect cowl tag showing the heater delete option and the third corrected cowl tag that he finally got right.

Bidding went higher than the '67 W-30.
