Another Freebie For My '66!!
I just scored yet another freebie for my '66 project! For awhile I was debating on what exhaust to run in the car. Headers are nice, but since I plan on lowering the car, I didn't want to scrape on every driveway or speed bump in town. I can't find shortys and the muffler shop wants an arm and a leg to make some. Ok, I'll just get a set of the Z/X manifolds. $300 per pair. But wait, my buddy Spence is cleaning out his storage today and asks me if I need a pair of BB Olds manifolds. I said I'd look at them, he pulls them out and sure enough, Z/X manifolds, clean and no cracks, and he just gives 'em to me!! All I need to do is hit 'em with some high heat manifold paint and they're as good as new!!
