That appears to be a cadillac transmisson, IF its a turbo hydramatic 400. 76 could possibly be build year. I assume the AA is the two letter code from the tag rivoted on the case?

If its a th350, I don't know.... it has too many numbers.

This information comes from the auther Ron Sessions. Motorbooks International.

Thanks, I'll have to check on the 2 letter code, not sure if its AA or not. I think it's a TH400 though. Does the Caddy transmission bolt up to the Olds big blocks?

Thanks,
Richard.

Cadillac transmissions won't bolt up to an Oldsmobile engine. Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac share the same bellhousing pattern.
