Anyone have a 68' 442 Sports Coupe??
#5
About 15 years ago there was a 68 442 Sport Coupe in a storage lot near my house. The car was rusty but it had the three speed manual floor shifter and bench seat (which was a CREDIT option over the standard equipment buckets). I always thought it was kind of cool in a perverse sort of way, since it was clearly the least expensive 442 one could order in 1968.

1970 Sports Coupe
Hi Guys. I haven't been on the site for a couple of months. I do indeed have a 1970 post coupe. It has a bench seat and is equipped with a TH400 with the shifter to the floor. I suspect this may have been a modification. My Olds is the talk of the neighbourhood as I tear up the tar on every street corner. I love the damm thing...........what can I say.

1968 442 Post Coupe
Just got one, it's partly restored, 4 speed bench seat car with P/S, dark green exterior, white interior. Needs brake work, radio, ans some of the dash control ***** are missing. I really don't know much about it, it runs good, sounds great.

Bought mine out of Wisconsin in January 21
Currently white but getting it painted back to Juneau Gray next month. Also currently has a 73 455/turbo 400 but was a factory 4 speed bucket/no console car. Going to convert it back to a 4 speed in the future. This picture was taken last summer before adding a tubular front suspension, rear 1” lowering springs, front disc brakes and quick ratio steering box.

sounds like a plan. Which group should I post it in for that? Thanks about the wheels. Came with the car but I’m a big fan. 17x8 fronts 17x8.5 rears
