which front brakes was original....??

Hello and merry Christmas from Germany...

can anybody say me which front brakes was original???Drum or Discs???
My car is a 65 442(now equipped with 11" disc-brakes-single piston,i think its from a G-body cutlass)

most likely the original front brakes were drum, but disc brakes were optioned that year.

Disc brakes were not optional in '65 - they weren't available until '67.

Oldsfan is right, I've owned several 67 Chevelles and Cutlass' and even then they were a rare option.
