Saturday was Buick-Olds-Pontaic day at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ

There was a Buick class, an Olds Class, and a Pontaic class, All classes were broken down into 2 classes each, slick tire and radial tire.

There wasn't enough Olds's there to have 2 classes so they made one class out of the 2.

I WON THE CLASS!!!!!!!!!! And better yet, I beat an 86 Cutlass with a 350 SBC under the hood.

There was 2 other Aleros there, the guy I race with and another guy from VA that him and I have been going back and forth about who's Alero is faster. His is faster by .016 seconds, but he has about $5 grand into his motor

Not a bad post time for a stock car. I guess that's you in the pictures trying to look modest, right? Aw heck, when you win that's no time to be modest. Probably felt like your car was king of the road on the way home right? Nice trophy.

So the guy with 5 grand in his engine....was it all for show?

My Alero isn't exactly stock. Has a lot of bolt ons but no internal engine work.

The other guy has a cam and stage 2 heads, he's having problems tuning the car

I'm really glad I beat the otehr guy, he's telling me how he hates running left lane (I won lane choice due to a flip of a coin) because he can't look at his tach and the tree at the same time, Also he hates racing slower cars because his trans heats up too much. At 11.63 dial, it's kinda hard to find a faster car
