1970 Cutlass wagon-Ram air W-31 Flavor! $4,300. DFW/TX
IMPORTANT!!! I just went thru all my paperwork on this car and found that I have the original WINDOW sticker and dealer invoice sticker along with the dealer pre-delivery checklist, and much, much more! The original owner had this car 26 years. I even found the original plastic Protecto-Plate! How rare is that?!
Video of the car running!- http://s283.photobucket.com/albums/k...t=MOV01667.flv This is a a gr8 opportunity to own a car that really gets the LOOKS and attention of lots of people! This is a Cutlass wagon (not a Vista Cruiser), that I have built into a car that Olds never offered. The original 350 engine was completely rebuilt and upgraded with lots of Edelbrock goodies, including the Performer RPM Cam (Yes, it has that lumpy, musclecar sound), intake, 750 Carb, air cleaner, complete new HEI distributor and ignition, new headers, new complete dual exhaust w/ crossover tube (quiet), new fuel pump, new 4 core radiator and cooling system w/additional electric cooling fan, new rebuilt front end, after market Ram air fiberglass hood, and more. Has an automatic turbo 350 with an extra tranny cooler up front, power steering and power front disc brakes. The stock bench seat was converted to original buckets. This station wagon handles outstanding due to the new coil spring suspension, the huge front and rear sway bars, and the 442 style boxed rear control arms. Rear end is a 12 bolt with freeway gears.Has 14 inch rally type rims, good tires. Also has the dual opening tailgate with power rear window. Car has a class 3 type trailer hitch (heavy duty) and rear air shocks. Front shocks are KYB gas-adjust. Glass, chrome, all there and in good condition. Has minor rust in the bottom of the front fenders and a little in the spare tire area, but this car still wears most of its original paint. This car does need basic cosmetics-however, all the hard stuff has been done. No A/C on this car (altho it can be added with a Vintage Air unit)--and it was born in Lansing which is where all the W-31 cars came from. Nice car to drive while finishing. I also have alot of paperwork for this car including some of the original stuff. Car was driven from Northern California to Dallas w/no problems! Call for more details. Possible trade for? Looking for a clean, stock Honda Civic Hatchback or CRX) Steve 817-503-0125 or 949-275-1270

Hey - I saw that first!

Several hours ago at least... It has not left my mind since!
In the recent chat about everyone's Vista Cruisers, I had deep enough thoughts to finally start searching and THIS one pops up on craigslist (though not really a vista-top)... Price is nice and it sounds to be in solid shape...
Yep, the Olds bug is in me again, just like a disease. We know what the cure is and it just costs money, work, space, and time. I lack the latter 3 at this time though...
I guess the only thing that has made me shy away from this a little was no factory A/C. I want to replace my newer caddy with a wagon for greater utility and to be an Olds. Being a daily driver, A/C is a must and I do not think i have the skills to convert a non-A/C car into an A/C version. If it was there and broke, that would be different...
Decisions, decisions... I may just have to ride the bike out there this weekend and check it out.

(Hmm.... The bike just might fit in the back, too...........)
taps,
So YOU are the seller! You and I need to chat...
Love those pics... Too bad the vid won't play (My PC's fault...)
PM me your email address if you don't mind.
I may need to come take a look at this some time on a weekend.
After then i can see if retrofitting the A/C wil be feasible (for me)...
Nice green convertible you have, too!

Hopefully to someone on the forum so I can watch the progress on it!
I saw this car in person and drove it a bit and it was an excellent driver and a great project. Hopefully the new owner will continue fixin' 'er up.
Had it had factory A/C it would have been in my driveway!
