Because it's a BIG block and has BIG valve covers! JUST KIDDING!

I had clearance issues on only one rocker on one side (I forget which) but Dremelled out both sides. I thought about thicker gaskets, but I was afraid of clearance problems later.

Heck...try fitting hem with the baffles in. If they won't clear, get 'em outa there.
