I can relate to your situation, not enough money to do it all the way. I try to realize that and generally keep away from the cars (and parts) that truly have potential for a full body off frame restoration. If I see a set of original behind the back seat hand grabs for my '46 I pass them up for a retorer, my custom won't need them.
