1967 Cutlass Convertible Project

I have for sale a 1967 Cutlass Convertible project car. The vin shows it was a 6 cylinder but now it has a 330 engine. The tags expired in 2001 but I heard the engine run before I bought the car in about 2004. The hood has bad rust in the front lip, the drivers side fender has been wrinkled and the person who straightened it doesn't know bodywork any better than I do! The rest of the car has rust below the bodyline running down the sides. It has a 1966 rear bumper and is missing the lower tail lights. The floorboard has some small but extra holes drilled in it and thanks to that the floorboards in the passenger compartment are solid. The trunk floor has a couple holes rusted through it, and there is some rust in the deck under the trunk lid. It has a tilt column and when I got it a bench seat. I found the studs for bucket seats had been cut off when the bench was installed. I have a set of 1967 buckets that I'll include with the car but they are just cores. I believe I have the rest of the interior and it needs recovered too. Price for the car is $1500 I do have a nice set of fenders from a 1967 Vista Cruiser and a decent hood that could go with the car for an additional $350. If you wanted a different engine I have several to choose from. The car is located in Medford Oregon and I have lots more photos, let me know if your interested. John

Thanks Jeremy! So... tell me how many different cars/years can you identify from parts in the background? John

All I can ID is the 68/69 conv. on the right and the 68 on the left. Guess I'm no Olds parts expert.

With all those parts around do you have any extra alternator brackets for a none a/c V8, like thse ones on the red 67 convertable.

John,
I was wondering if you ever figured out if you had a 68 442 rear bumper and how much?

my67olds, I need to make sure I have an extra set. I'll send you a pm with photos if I do.

real442 I'm in the process of trying to purchase another 1968 442 so I need to make sure It has the correct bumper. If I do have a spare it's a core that would need to be straightened and re-chromed, but would be a factory bumper with cutouts for the exhaust tips.

Also... I'm not getting emails that there are replys to this post anymore. An email or pm would make sure I see it sooner. John

Hello Dana
I've had it for several years and I think the frame is sound but should crawl under it before I say for sure. If I have time this weekend I'll get it up on jackstands and take some photos. John

1967 Parts

Dana, I'll try to get under the convert this weekend and get some photos on the condition of the frame.

Snowman, I'm hoping to sell it as a complete project car. I did find a 1966 4 door with nice fenders on it. I believe they're the same and if I'm able to get them I'll send an email your way. John

Sorry, I don't have the bumper you need. I'll keep my eyes open though. Do you know if any other years would interchange? John

John,

Just wondering if you would be willing to sell the B85 window reveal moulding?
