If you car is single exhaust now and you ask a shop to do dual exhaust they will say they cannot do TRUE dual exhaust without changing the exhaust manifolds. They are right, you need to find some dual exhaust manifolds or have your singles modified to remove the crossover ports and block them off. Then the shop can run true dual exhaust from the engine all the way back. I did this and the price of the exhaust pipes/hangers/mufflers cost me $250. In Boston it might be $400 and in Nebraska it might be only $100, labor prices make a big difference.

You don't need different manifolds to connect a "true dual" exhaust, you simply need to cap-off the cross-over port on the one side (drivers?). You can either buy the cap made for this purpose (just like the factory did it), or the exhaust shop can fab a pinched-off pipe connected to the cross-over port (which is how my car was converted to duals).

Classic Exhaust sells on Ebay and you can order a 67 Cutlass 4dr dual exhaust set-up. For the Cutlass no special manifolds are needed as already said. You are probably looking at 400 bucks for a complete system.
