I've got one that has a small bag on the bottom for sand. And rubber tips to contain the sand on the usable end. I've only tried it, never really used it. Seems to work OK on the side of cars. Wasn't to good on top though. Not HF.

I've got a HF model with a sand hopper on top. Should be OK for small jobs.

Years ago I had a Sears unit. Siphon feed - it has a plastic case for the sand. (about 14" X 16") It worked good.

The folks at www.67-72chevytrucks.com were recently talking about a sandblasting attachment for a pressure washer. You still got the sand mess, but not the dust. Early reviews sounded like it worked good. This would be outdoors only.
