Finally Some Progress!

well after all the snow finally cleared i have finally made some progress on my 81 cutlass. first of all i dove in a tore my vinal top off to see what was hiding underneath.. and too my surprise not one trace of rust anywhere! after that was all done i decided to call up a local modified driver friend of mine and see about getting some wheels and tires. $250 later i got a full set of aero racing wheels 15x8 2 of them with 3" offset and 2 with 4", and some hoosier hard compound tires. totally not legal but with as little long distance driving im going to be doing with this car im not worried about it. so here is some pics of my progress from begging to end so far. still saving to get it painted.

Hi Sean, looks like a nice solid car. Besides paint, what other work/mods are you planning?

currently building a 406 from a modified dirt car. i have a ford 9" and a rebuilt 350 turbo to go with it. just plan on repainting it the original silver blue and do a complete restoration on the interior.

i want to runn side exitting exhaust out to one side, make a aluminum rear spoiler and make some headlight covers to make it look more like the old cutlass racecars.
