I would like to put new wheels and tires on my 68 Cutlass Supreme. looking for wheel width backspacing for 295/55/60rear and skinnies up front?
Drag lights are the wheel choice from Weld. thanks for your help

 

295/55/60 on a 8" wheel what offset on a 68 cuttlass?

 

i just bought some 295/55/15 m/t drag radials. they are installed on prostar rims 10 wide with a 6.5" backspace. i think they bulge a little and think they would fit perfectly on a 8' rim. im building my 12 bolt with c clips. i am going to put 1" lowering springs from summit. i had 30" drag radials and they were way to tall!! i had a 3/8"-1/2" spacer on them to get the rim perfectly centered in the wheelwell. when i get it together i will snap you some pics. then i will have a perfect answer.
