It's time to choose wheels and tires for my '65 Cutlass and I want to go with the widest 15" tire possible in the rear. I'm running a 12 bolt out of a '69 442 with new standard heigth springs and aftermarket disc brakes. I know I'm going to have to go with a pretty big back set because of the rear end and the discs making it wider. My concern is a wheel with that much back set hitting the shock mounting bracket. Has anyone else dealt with this? Thanks, Wilson

On my 65 442 with a 1967 12 bolt I had the same dilema. Settled on 275 60 15s on 15 x 8.5" rims with 5" BS. Rims are convo pros.
