72 442 vert tire/rim question

I'm looking at 8" Wheel Vintiques Series 52 rims all around. 4.5 backspace

Front tire MT 255/60/15

Rear tire MT 275/60/15 OR
MT 295/50/15

Does anyone see any rubbing issues?

Front tire too wide? should I go to 245? Too short/ should I go to 70 series?

Front Rim too wide?

Anyone running this combo? Any comments, recommendations, stories would be greatly appreciated.

I roll 255/60/15s at all four corners on 7" SSIIs I would characterize them as a very good fit, if I am at full lock and close to full compression I may get incidental tire / body contact....enough to leave a mark not enough to worry about....that was w my old fr springs, I just installed new springs and bushings so hopefully that only changes for the better

I'm running that combo with BFG 255/60/15 front and 275/60/15 back. Also see incidental contact (but no foul) as mentioned above.

I know Dr. Decal had 295/50/15's on the back of his 70 W-30. I do not know the details on the wheels. I ordered my aftermarket SSI's from Summit. I think they are Wheel Vintiques. They ask me what car they were going on and a few other questions to make sure they would fit. I have 15 X 7's with 245/60/15's all around on my 70 Cutlass conv. I am very satisfied with them. Personally I think the 295/50's look better than the 275/60's. The 275 always looked like a big truck tire, just my opinion......
