hi from France

Hi, everybody.
I just bought my first oldsmobile (actually I bought 2 but one broke down along the way home .... so left it). It a 1982 custom cruiser with the 350 diesel.... which I hope I'll be able to make it run for a long time...
well it's for my wife who needed 7 seats, for kids hauling.
My other american cars includes : a 1970 Buick GS455, a 1995 Eagle vision , and a 1995 Eagle Vision that runs on LP Gas...
I'm joining the forum, to chat with other similar car owners, get tips , because as you imagine the car is far from mint....

Welcome

Welcome aboard.

Tell us more about yourself. Where in France do you live?

I once drove all the way from Maastricht to Normandy in an Alfa [some poor fellow from Hertz rented to me who doesn't have a job now]

Olivier, welcome to our site. We have a few Ausies and New Zealanders that have converted their Oldsmobile to LP. Good move for people in your situation. Hope you enjoy our site.

I'm about 25 miles south of Paris.... I feel that I'm kind of living on the wrong side of the atlantic... so I come to the states as soon as the finance permits

I missed that area of France as I was trying to avoid driving near big cities. The French country side I saw was beautiful and I loved going to Normandy, particularly St Mere Eglese.
